Easy settings for two soprano recorders, one alto recorder and percussion. This is the first of three short volumes containing old Christmas songs from Germany and other European countries. They can either be played on the soprano recorder or sung, with tuned and untuned percussion accompaniement. In this volume the tone material is C' or D' without accidentals and offers possibilities of many different interpretations. Some suggestions are given for putting together instrumental settings, poems and songs which are thematically related. The songs can be used in individual, group and class instruction.
