The Legends GIR MF2 trumpet mouthpiece resurrects the legendary performance of a vintage Giardinelli MF2, originally crafted for Maynard Ferguson in the 1960s by Jack Onque. It features a notably small inside rim diameter of .580″ and a shallow, slightly convex V-shaped cup, mirroring the depth of a Bach E/F. The semi-flat rim, designed for comfort, couples with a rounded inner edge for enhanced playability.

This model faithfully replicates the original Giardinelli design in the rim and cup, but modernizes it with a standard #27 throat and our proprietary Manhattan backbore, offering a focused sound ideal for pieces like “Summertime” and beyond.
