Rubank.
The American wind method since 1934. Founded in Chicago, Rubank publishes the Elementary, Intermediate and Advanced Methods for every wind and brass instrument — the working method-book series of the American school band tradition for nine decades.
Rubank Elementary, Intermediate and Advanced Methods are the universal American wind-method standard. Every band director from elementary through college recognises the cover, the layout, the progressive technical exercises that build embouchure, fingering, articulation, rhythm and reading. Plus the Rubank etudes (Vade Mecum, Hovey, Skornicka), and the Rubank concert-and-contest solo collections.
Below: the Rubank departmental catalogue. Instrument-first for the major method series, then format for solos and etudes.
