Curnow Music.
Founded by James Curnow, the American wind-band composer. The catalogue is built around graded concert-band, brass-band, and brass-ensemble repertoire — the music that gets played at every state festival and contest, written by the composer who has shaped two generations of wind writing.

James Curnow has been one of the most-played American composers for concert band since the 1980s. He set up the Curnow Music press to publish his own catalogue plus a stable of working wind composers — David Shaffer, Robert Sheldon, Stephen Bulla.
The catalogue is organised by graded difficulty (1 through 5+), the band-director shorthand that maps onto middle-school, high-school, and college ensembles. Curnow's brass-band catalogue is equally significant in the British brass-band tradition.
