Nothing less
than excellence.
The atelier’s own line, set above the door: “Nothing less than excellence”. The atelier sits in Normandy in northern France, and the oboes are made at the La Couture-Boussey atelier — a town with a centuries-deep tradition of woodwind making.
The atelier’s self-description: “Great attention to detail is shown throughout the entire manufacturing process. Each operation is meticulously controlled by our technicians, and each completed instrument is fine-tuned by our team of top international players.” Ninety-plus years of reputation as a global oboe benchmark, played in major orchestras worldwide.

The oboe
across the range.
The professional oboe lines: M2, 2000, and 900 — each with its own voicing and key-work refinements. The student line 701 sits below for the conservatoire-track player. Beyond the standard oboe, the atelier carries the specialty voices of the woodwind section: the cor anglais, the oboe d’amore, and the bass oboe.
The musette completes the set — the smallest of the oboe family, an octave above the standard oboe. Each completed instrument receives a final tuning pass by the atelier’s in-house team of professional players.
