The original ChopSaver formula was designed for brass and woodwind “chops” — the lip muscles — and grew out of two months of experimentation with arnica as a base ingredient.
A few years after launch, dermatologists began using ChopSaver for severe chapped lips on patients taking isotretinoin (Accutane). Now widely available across music stores, Amazon, and CVS.
