Ketron was established in February 1981 in Ancona, Italy. A portable organ was the first product, released by end of 1981.
In 1985 Ketron switched to producing arrangers. The 1991 Multisynthesis MS series followed, as did the DG digital pianos. Today the catalogue covers arranger keyboards, digital pianos, and sound modules for working entertainers.
