The Brass Club
Every Brass Instrument, One Stage
From Bb and C trumpets to cornets, flugelhorns, rotary and piccolo trumpets—we cover the full trumpet family. Step down the row to alto, tenor, and bass trombones, then across to French horns, euphoniums, baritones, tubas and sousaphones. Around the instruments you'll find everything that keeps them moving: cases, mutes, mouthpieces, stands, and care kits.
Six Millennia of Brass
From the Egyptian Sneb to the Modern Symphony
Brass is the family with the longest unbroken history in the orchestra. The earliest trumpets — the sneb of pharaonic Egypt, the lurs of the Bronze Age, the buccinas of imperial Rome — were the signaling and ceremonial instruments of empires. They predate written music. They predate the orchestra by three thousand years.
The modern brass section emerged with the chromatic revolution: Heinrich Stölzel and Friedrich Blühmel patented the rotary valve in 1815; the piston valve followed in the 1830s; Adolphe Sax patented the saxhorn family in 1845; Wilhelm Wieprecht built the first true tuba in Berlin in 1835. From that point on, every Bruckner symphony, every Mahler movement, every Wagner opera was scored for the brass section as we know it.
Today that lineage runs through the workshops we carry: Weimann in Germany, Oberrauch in Italy, Carol Brass in Taiwan. We sell the trumpets, the trombones, the horns, the tubas, and the mouthpieces, mutes, and accessories that turn a roomful of metal into the section that finishes the chord at the end of the symphony.

The Workshops Behind The Sound
Six brass workshops we trust the most. Hand-spun bells, hand-engraved valves, hand-tested mouthpieces. From Germany to Italy to Taiwan — these are the makers our pros come back to.

Wolfratshausen, Germany
Weimann
"Bavarian precision · concert-hall presence"
Bb Trumpets · Custom · Hand-Spun Bells
German workshop hand-building Bb trumpets — Aero, Calidus, Lumen, Passion, Vivat. Each model carries a different bell weight and tonal character. The Weimann sound is defined by precision response and the kind of mid-register core that holds up at the back of an orchestra hall.
(Aero · Calidus · Lumen)

Switzerland
Haag Brass
"Bass trombones for the orchestra back row"
Bass & Tenor Trombones · Custom Builds
Swiss low-brass specialists. The Haag bass trombone — $9,163 flagship — is what European symphony bass trombonists order when they want a single instrument that handles everything from Brahms to Bartók to Bruckner. Hand-bored, hand-finished, voice-tested.
(orchestral flagship)

South Tyrol, Italy
Oberrauch
"Italian soul · German engineering"
B-Trumpets · C-Trumpets · Piccolo Trumpets
South Tyrolean workshop — German precision with Italian voicing. The Oberrauch B-Trumpet "Milano" at $6,264 is the soloist’s instrument: a bell that focuses without locking up, valves that don’t fight you on Mahler 5, a sound that sings on Vivaldi. Plus the legendary Vivaldi I/II piccolo trumpets.
(orchestral flagship)

Taiwan
Carol Brass
"Pro-grade response · accessible price"
Trumpets · Cornets · Flugelhorns · Pocket · 281 SKUs
Taiwan’s flagship brass workshop. 281 SKUs covering Bb/C trumpets, cornets, flugelhorns, piccolo trumpets, and pocket trumpets. The Carol Brass 6239 lacquered Bb trumpet is the pro-tier audition instrument that won’t fight your wallet. Used by working pros and conservatory students globally.

V.F. Červený
"The original tuba builder · since 1842"
Tubas · Sousaphones · Rotary Trumpets · Tenor Horns
V.F. Červený & Sons — Bohemian brass builder since 1842, credited with inventing the rotary tuba and contrabass tuba. The CBB 682-5R BBb Tuba "Jubilant" at $9,439 is one of the heaviest, deepest-toned production tubas you can buy. 147 SKUs spanning the entire low-brass and rotary-trumpet range.
