Sheet Music FAQs

Do you ship sheet music worldwide?
Yes. Every edition ships worldwide with carrier tracking. Transit windows and costs are in our Shipping Policy. Outside the United States, customs duties and import taxes are the buyer's responsibility.
How long will my order take?
Editions are dispatched once the publisher or its distributor releases them to us, so allow the processing time in the Shipping Policy on top of carrier transit. You receive tracking by email the moment it ships. If a title is out of print or delayed at the publisher, we tell you straight away and refund in full if you would rather not wait.
Can I return sheet music?
Sheet music is final sale once the seal is broken or the item has been used, in line with publishers' terms. If an edition arrives damaged, defective or is not what you ordered, contact us within 30 days of delivery and we provide a prepaid return label at no cost to you. Full details in the Return & Refund Policy.
Are these the publishers' own editions?
Yes. Every title is the publisher's own edition — Bärenreiter and Henle Urtext, Breitkopf & Härtel, Schott, Boosey & Hawkes, Ricordi, Hal Leonard and the other houses in the catalogue — supplied through the publisher or its authorised distributor. We do not sell photocopies or unlicensed reprints.
Which edition should I buy — Urtext or a performance edition?
Start with What Urtext actually means and Bärenreiter vs Henle. If you are still unsure, email us the work and your instrument and we will recommend one.
Can you source an edition that is not listed?
Usually, yes. Email info@themusiciansclub.net with the title, composer and publisher (or the ISMN if you have it) and we check availability and price with the publisher before you commit to anything.
Do you work with schools, orchestras and choirs?
Yes. Orchestras, conservatories, schools, churches and choral societies have a single point of contact for multi-copy orders — see Orchestras & Conservatories.
