Little Prelude And Fugue — Arrangement for Concert Band Score and Parts
Little Prelude and Fugue is a short keyboard work written by J.S. Bach possibly as study material for his children. Found in a collection of Short Preludes and Fugues, it should not be confused with the Little Fugue in G minor for organ. In this adaptation for concert band it has been transposed from A minor to G minor. This has long been a favorite of the arranger D.W. Stauffer who feels its availability for band brings the concert repertoire a Bach work that is not difficult and is easy to program.
