Combining two beautiful songs--“Jolly Old St. Nicholas” and “Toyland”--to create the sweetness and nostalgia of the holiday season, here is a wonderful addition to your winter concert. Setting “Jolly Old St. Nicholas” in 6/8 rather than the usual common time, the arranger creates a dreamlike state where young children can imagine all the toys they wish for. Written during the Pandemic, this new arrangement encourages the innocence of childhood to shine through the darkness.
