Tio Macaco

This work is composed by the very talented Grammy Award-winning composer Michael League, composer for many of the works performed by the group Snarky Puppy, one of the most exciting, entertaining and musically sophisticated groups of young musicians performing today. The group is a collective of nearly 40 musicians consisting of guitars, pianos, keyboards, woodwinds, brass, percussion and strings. From their most recent album, We Like It Here comes this Latin wonder, “Tio Macaco” tastefully arranged by Tom Wallace. An infectious mix of melodies and harmonies co-exist with an unstoppable groove to create just the kind of music that marching bands find irresistible.
