This wonderful concert work takes us on a journey through time to the Roman Empire. The composer was inspired by the famous Via Sacra, once the main road through ancient Rome between the Colosseum and the Capitolium. Along the route were several important temples and sanctuaries –– hence the name, meaning Sacred Street.
