Ultra-Pure Oils started in 1990 as a hobby business, formulating custom blends of synthetic oils for valves — fast, light, super-smooth, with a silky feel, long-lasting, odourless.
In 2000, the Monette Corporation began using Ultra-Pure Professional Valve Oil on their fine trumpets. The catalogue has since grown to tuning slide lubes, rotor oils, care kits, and trombone slide lubes.
