Commissioned for the Vanderbilt Youth Choirs in celebration of Blair Academy's 60th anniversary, “Circle Around” features the Americana sound of Nashville with fiddle, banjo-like piano patterns, and lyrical imagery of circles - symbolizing tradition, connection, and renewal. Inspired by Nashville's iconic musical circles, from the Grand Ole Opry to Will the Circle Be Unbroken, this piece gathers singers of all ages into a musical embrace of community and celebration.
