Dancescriptions

Dancescriptions combines many styles derived from pop music with techniques from classical composition. The styles are not the focal point; the true musical definition comes from the interpretation of the transition passages. After the statement of a rhythmic and melodic cell the music is developed from the thematic material in the appropriate style – soul music, disco, merengue, ballad and rock – in the Big Band tradition. The different rhythms and genres are interwoven and combined to create a natural flow in this musical puzzle.
