Reunion Blues

This jazz standard was composed by legendary vibraphonist Milt Jackson and recorded notably by Milt with Oscar Peterson on the album of the same name. Opening with the theme played by a small group of tenor, trumpet, guitar, and vibes, this great-sounding chart is set in a medium tempo swing style and features terrific scoring for the entire ensemble. With the blues format, this is a perfect vehicle for multiple soloists.
