- He is a Brazilian cellist and winner of the Olivier Toni Award for prominence in musical artistry from the University of São Paulo, one of the top universities in Latin America, where he received her B.A. in Cello Performance.
- Described as a versatile musician, he is sought after for a variety of projects, including baroque performance and touring with jazz/alternative rock groups. He is also the founder of Musical Gym, a project dedicated to helping students achieve high-level practice, and Cello em Pauta, which focuses on discussing the history and craft of cello performance.
- He serves as a director of the Agassiz Chamber Music Festival and created Glimpses of the Future, a competition held within the festival. After finishing his master’s degree at the University of Manitoba, he is currently a doctoral researcher at McGill University, where he also coaches chamber music groups. With a special admiration for composers Claudio Santoro, Francisco Mignone, and Villa-Lobos, his research explores the influence of folk music on Brazilian classical repertoire, reflecting his own musical journey. In 2024, he started the Acalanto Duo with Brazilian pianist Amanda Kohn, aiming to explore the plurality of Brazilian repertoire for cello and piano.
