Return &Refund Policy

The Musicians Club is a U.S.-based marketplace operated by Brass Club LLC. We work with approved makers, publishers, dealers, and distributors. In most cases, we do not hold inventory—items are fulfilled and shipped directly from Vendors.
Most Important Points (Summary)
- Returns require authorization first. Do not send anything back without approval.
- Items must be unused, in original condition, and in original packaging.
- Custom/made-to-order items are generally final sale.
- Digital products are final sale.
- International orders may have limited return eligibility.
- Damages/incorrect items must be reported within 72 hours with photos.

Condition Requirements (Strict)
To qualify for a return, the item must be:
- Unused and unaltered
- In new condition
- In original packaging
- With all included accessories, parts, manuals, tags, and promotional items
Returns may be denied or subject to deductions if:
- The item shows use, wear, odors, scratches, dents, residue, or adjustments
- Packaging is missing or damaged beyond normal shipping wear
- Accessories, cases, mouthpieces, reeds, cables, or parts are missing
- Serial numbers do not match records
Non-Returnable / Final Sale Items
1. Digital Goods and Services
Including downloadable software, digital sheet music, memberships, lesson bookings, online services, and any other digital delivery products.
2. Made-to-Order, Custom, Special Order Items
Items produced, configured, or sourced specifically for you are final sale unless they arrive damaged/defective or incorrect.
3. Hygiene-Sensitive Products
Items that contact the mouth or body may be non-returnable once opened (reeds, mouthpieces, earplugs, harmonicas, etc.), except for verified defects.
4. Clearance / Final Sale Items
Items marked "Final Sale" or "Clearance" are not returnable unless required by law.
Defective, Damaged, or Incorrect Items
You must contact us within 72 hours of delivery if your item arrives damaged, defective, incorrect, or incomplete.
Provide the following:
- Order number
- Photos of the item
- Photos of internal packaging
- Photos of the outer box
- Photo of the shipping label

Resolution Options
If verified, remedies may include: replacement parts, repair, replacement, or refund (where applicable).
Return Shipping Costs
Original Shipping
Original shipping charges are non-refundable, except where required by law or confirmed shipping error.
Return Shipping (Customer Responsibility)
For standard returns, the customer is responsible for return shipping costs, packaging, insurance, and ensuring safe delivery.
Returns Due to Defect / Incorrect Item
If we confirm a defect or incorrect item, we will coordinate the return method and may provide a return label.
International Orders (Outside the U.S.)
- International orders may be final sale unless the item arrives damaged/defective or incorrect.
- If approved, the customer is responsible for return shipping and any associated fees.
- Duties, VAT/GST, brokerage fees are non-refundable by The Musicians Club.
Refund Processing and Deductions
Inspection
Refunds are issued only after the returned item is received and inspected.
Timing
Refunds are typically processed within 5 business days after inspection.
Possible Deductions
Deductions may apply for: missing accessories, signs of use, reconditioning required, or restocking fees per Vendor terms.
Exchanges
Exchanges are not always possible. If requested:
- The original item must qualify for return
- Availability depends on the Vendor
- Price differences must be paid before shipment
- Shipping costs may be customer responsibility
The fastest approach is often a return followed by a new order.
How to Request a Return
- Contact support with: order number, item name, reason for return
- If eligible, we will issue a Return Authorization (RMA)
- Returns sent without authorization may be rejected
