Fly Away, Sparrow — Music for Women's Voices Series

A beautiful new musical setting of the text from the American folk song “Come, Fair Ladies” for treble voices, flute and piano. Beginning simply with the melody in unison, the second verse expands the harmony homophonically with the third verse adding polyphony. Each voice along with the flute tells the story and paints the picture as they sing, “Fly away.”
