The atelier’s line: hand-crafted brass mutes using metal spinning, the same process the founder used in 1925. Based on the original 1920s and 30s designs and built by skilled technicians.

The Wow-Wow mute defined an entire jazz vocabulary — the harmonic colour Miles Davis pulled from his trumpet, the sound Clyde McCoy made his signature, the muted voice that classical orchestras call for in Gershwin’s Rhapsody in Blue.
