- Jerome Burns is a highly accomplished classical trumpet player with a strong academic and performance background. He holds a Master of Music with Excellence in Classical Trumpet Performance from The Koninklijk Conservatorium in The Hague, where he focused on avant-garde trumpet techniques, as well as a Master of Music from the Manhattan School of Music and a Bachelor of Music summa cum laude from SUNY Purchase.
- Jerome has studied under renowned trumpet instructors, including Marco Blaauw, Susan Williams, and Mark Gould, and has performed internationally. His notable appearances include solo performances at the Holland Festival in Amsterdam and as a baroque trumpeter with the Orchestra of the Eighteenth Century. He has held principal trumpet positions with several orchestras, such as the One World Symphony Orchestra, Symphony Orchestra of the Americas, and most recently, the Danbury Symphony Orchestra.
- Currently serving as principal trumpet with the Danbury Symphony Orchestra and performing with ensembles like the **Ridgefield Symphony** and Bridgeport Symphony, Jerome’s extensive experience spans both solo and orchestral settings.
