A Celebration Of Love (a Gospel Mass)

For centuries, great composers have set the Ordinary of the Mass in various styles, ranging from classical to jazz. Wise joins this tradition by setting the Mass in contemporary African American gospel musical styles. The work includes settings of the Kyrie, Gloria, Credo, Sanctus, Benedictus, Agnus Dei, and concludes with a 16-fold Amen. Together, these musical pieces offer a soulful and inspirational experience. This composition, written for SATB with limited divisi, is very accessible to choirs of all abilities and is ideal for choral concerts, honor choir festivals, and special liturgical celebrations.
