Holy Word.” Only one word is sung in this work, inspired by the Sami Yoik tradition where very few words are used along with “yoik syllables.” This yoik tradition allows the human voice to describe something without the limitations of words and languages. A simple pronunciation guide is included. “Aejlies” can be heard on the Decca recording Northern Lights.
