Kapustin dedicated the piece “Countermove” to the Canadian pianist Marc-André Hamelin, who had released a complete CD of Kapustin's works in 2004. Kapustin himself later recorded “Countermove” for the album “Kapustin Returns!” The sheet music is now being published for the first time.
