Lift Every Voice and Sing

This arrangement was commissioned for the “Heritage of Harmony” show, celebrating the African-American Origins of Barbershop Harmony, part of the BHS 2019 Midwinter Convention held at the legendary Grand Ole Opry House in Nashville, TN. Male and female quartets sing independently, then join together as one voice, building toward a powerful ending, showcasing the lyric and celebrating this song, recognized as “The African-American National Anthem.”
