Light! Out Of The Darkness

The first words spoken by God as recorded in the Holy Scriptures are, “LET THERE BE LIGHT.” On that first day of creation, after God created the heavens and the earth, He spoke light into being. Light is a dynamic metaphor throughout Holy Writ, as is darkness.“ God Who said, 'Let light shine out of darkness,' made His light shine in our hearts to give us the light of the knowledge of God's glory displayed in the face of Christ.” 2 Corinthians 4:6Light illuminates--darkness hides. Light directs--darkness deceives. Light brings life--darkness brings despair. Now see God's glory on display in the face of Christ. He is the Light of the world!
