Lullaby Of Angels

“Lullaby of Angels” is the first movement from the short collection Songs Without Words by renowned Ukrainian composer Iryna Aleksiychuk. Born out of the deepest sorrow of a mother for the tragic loss of her son defending Ukraine, and sung by her at his funeral, this simple yet heart-stirring SATB a cappella piece in neutral syllables will greatly move performers and audiences alike. It's suitable for SATB middle school high school, collegiate and community choirs, and is especially poignant for a memorial service as well as a good fit for any general programs.
