Muzio Clementi was only just 16 years old when he wrote this sonata – and already a talented pianist. He had studied many of the great works written by his famous predecessors. This charming early work by Mozart's contemporary shows the influence of many of these role models, in particular of Domenico Scarlatti. And yet it is not very demanding.
