Tátu horn straight mute

The Tátu horn straight mute is a non-transposing 3D printed mute, reinforced with carbon fiber and an oak bottom. Designed with the highest musical standards in mind for orchestral and solo repertoire. This is the first asymmetrical mute which allows for an immediate responsive in all registers. The goal was to make a mute with very quick response in repetitive staccatos and can handle the entire dynamic register from pp to ff with excellent intonation. The resistance is set up as close as possible to feel as if there were no mute in the bell. Because of these new features, and the carefully selected quality materials, it has a beautiful muted sound that also provides great projection. The inner part of the mute has a tapered tube which gives even more richness to the sound. The mute is compatible with practically all horn bell sizes.
