Paul Dukas. Paul Dukas (1865-1935) was a France composer. Born 1 October 1865 in 1st arrondissement of Paris; died 17 May 1935 in Paris. Paul Abraham Dukas was a French composer, critic, scholar and teacher. A studious man of retiring personality, he was intensely self-critical, having abandoned and destroyed many of his compositions.
