Silverstein Works.
A premium-ligature atelier in pursuit of perfection. Dual-Alloy construction, the Floating-guided Nut, the Rocking Bridge — ligatures for clarinet, saxophone, bassoon, and both American and European oboe systems.
Pursuit of
perfection.
The atelier’s line, set above the door: “Pursuit of Perfection.” The atelier’s engineering brief: ligatures that “put minimal stress on the reed, promote maximum reed vibration with less warping”, and “compensate for variations in reed thickness.”
The flagship innovation is Dual-Alloy construction — described as “an engineering breakthrough that dramatically enhances resonance, stability, and tonal precision.” The patented Rocking Bridge self-adjusts to fit; the special SLA24 alloy is 40% lighter than other models.
